In a promotional event for Nadunisi Naaygal shot at AVM studios yesterday, Iyakkunar Imayam Bharathiraja was invited as the chief guest by none other than Gautham Menon. The latter was all praise for the former since he was the first to make a film of this genre.
Gautham Menon said, “The first psychological thriller in Tamil Cinema “Sigappu Rojakkal” was such a cult hit that today it has become synonymous with the genre itself.” Both Gautham Menon and Bharathiraja share a fantastic rapport which is one of mutual admiration and respect.
Both the directors had a whale of a time enjoying each other’s company who were seen cracking jokes and laughing with each other. It is a good sight to see directors, from two different generations, share such great rapport.
Nadunisi Naaygal has a weak to go before release and the movie is expected to be a connoisseurs’ delight.
