One more star from Small screen

There has always been exchange of artists and technicians at language levels and the screen segments. With the rise of program charts in the TV channels, many actors and technicians found asylum in such channels at least by a single program. This includes heroes and heroines and in this connection we can see Radhika, Simran, YG Mahendra, SVe Sekar, et.

The reverse of this is the entry of TV artists and technicians to the silver screen. In almost six or seven years , many program anchors, compeers and VJs have entered into the silver screen. To quote a few, we have Santhanam, Sanjeev, Sniktha, Siva Karthikeyan. The latest entrant is Pooja, a VJ who debuted through Kadhalil Sothappuvathu Yeppadi. She said she was not at all interested in acting films but the director of KSY, Balaji Mohan narrated the storyline and her role.

They impressed her to give her consent and she is not bothered about the level of such role – small or big. What she wanted is a good recognition to the efforts mooted, she added. Pooja further said she would accept movies which provide her challenging tasks and the scope for future.
