Saguni slated for Tamil New year Day

The much awaited film from Karthi starrer Saguni is all set to hit the screens on Tamil New year’s day. The producers’ sources said the film was supposed to have screened by this month at least. But due to the restrictions imposed b y the producers council on release dates the film got delayed in the release. Now it is almost certain that the film may go on screens on April 14.
The cast of the film has, apart from Karthi, Praneetha and Santhanam in the lead role. Directed by Shankar Dayal, the film seems to revolve around the tactics and aristocracy of the protagonist. Karthi is learnt to have displayed a keen exhibition of talented sequences in the film. Some sources reveal that it may be similar to what he done in Siruthai as Rocket Raja.
Santhanam will be assisting Karthi in the events which will be for both entertainment and morality. As the movie date is fixed, the audio launch is to be announced soon, said the sources. The title of the movie itself indicates the contradictory element as Saguni is the name related to the evil designer in the epic Ramayana. It is to be seen how the movie will best fit in for the title.
