After a long time, Six tamil films are releasing on a same day, that is today, though very few of significance. The most anticipated films are yet to come and have a two weeks’ wait before that, however, one or two from these 6 new releases are predicted to turn out good.

Madhumitha’s Kola Kolaya Mundhirika

Madhumitha has become quite a name as her first film ‘Vallamai Thaarayo’ won critical accolades though did not turn out to be a big hit at the box office. Her second film ‘Kola Kolaya Mundhirika’ is more anticipated than any other film for the sheer combination of talents it has got or at least for the one man who is part of the crew – Crazy Mohan.

Playing Karthik Kumar and Shikha in the lead role, Kola Kolaya Mundhirika will turn out to be a good prospect and what Crazy Mohan will do this time is eagerly awaited.

Arun Vijay in Maanja Velu

This is one of the films to look out for. This film has created some hype for itself over the past one month and the release was delayed for some stated reason. Arun Vijay is the lead protagonist with Santhanam doing the comedy. A Venkatesh is the director of the film. Tansika, who acted in Peranmai, is the heroine of the film. Mani Sharma’s music will help the film do well at the box office, hopefully.

Arun Vijay’s Father-in-Law Mohan has come forward to give a break to his Son-in-Law producing the film under the banner Feather Touch Entertainment.

Srikanth and Prithviraj in Kutrappirivu

The only action film of the week starring Prithviraj and Srikanth after K V Anand’s ‘Kana Kandein’. Kutrappirivu is a film about the Police Department. Green Apple Productions and Divya Pictures have combined to make this film which is directed by Manmohan.
